Do:

• Use Edge Locations: Deploy latency-sensitive apps to Linode’s newer distributed sites.
• Use Object Storage: S3-compatible, affordable, and highly available.
• Use Longview: Lightweight monitoring for your Linux instances.

Don’t:

• Don’t run unhardened: Like any VPS provider, you get a raw Linux box. Configure ufw, fail2ban, and SSH keys immediately.
